Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has reportedly sold a premium office space located in Mumbai’s Lower Parel for ₹8 crore, according to property registration data sourced from Square Yards, a leading proptech platform. The deal was officially registered in April 2025, as per documents filed with the Inspector General of Registration (IGR).
The office, situated in the high-end commercial project One Place Lodha developed by Macrotech Developers (Lodha Group), offers a carpet area of approximately 1,146.88 square feet. In addition, the transaction included two car parking spaces, making it a well-packaged commercial real estate asset.
Transaction Details and Financials
As per the IGR records:
- Stamp Duty Paid: ₹48 lakh
- Registration Charges: ₹30,000
- Transaction Value: ₹8 crore
The deal aligns with current pricing trends in One Place Lodha, where the average property rate is ₹48,000 per sq ft, as per Square Yards Data Intelligence. Notably, between May 2024 and April 2025, a total of eight transactions amounting to ₹618 crore were registered at this project.
One Place Lodha is a state-of-the-art commercial project spread over 1.08 acres, offering modern office spaces ranging from 179 sq ft to 27,392 sq ft. Strategically located in Lower Parel, it provides seamless access to major commercial hubs in Mumbai including Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Nariman Point.
Akshay Kumar’s Recent Property Moves
This is not Akshay Kumar’s first real estate transaction in recent months. In March 2025, he sold an apartment located in Borivali East for ₹4.35 crore. Interestingly, he had bought that apartment in November 2017 for ₹2.37 crore, highlighting a significant capital appreciation over the years.
