The Interim budget 2024 was presented by Hon Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitaraman today in the parliament. Since this year is year of general election hence only interim budget was produced.
Highlights of Interim Budget 2024
- Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin another 2 cr houses are planned in next five years.
- A new Scheme/ subsidy shall be floated for Middle class housing in the country
- All exemption under Housing finance interest and principle payments are un changed
- No Change in capital gain taxes
- No change in notional Rent provisions
- No change in the taxation slabs and schedules
- New emphasis on Research and development allocated 1 Lakh Cr.
