The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced Phase II of the DDA Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana, 2025, after the resounding success of its first phase. The initiative is a key step in making affordable housing accessible to a broader segment of Delhi’s population, particularly targeting Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and, for the first time, Low-Income Group (LIG) applicants.
New Opportunities for Affordable Living
According to a circular issued on October 23, 2025, Phase II will offer 1,537 flats located across different areas of the national capital. The expansion into the LIG category marks a significant milestone, broadening the scheme’s reach and ensuring more citizens benefit from DDA’s affordable housing mission.

The tentative prices vary based on location and category, ensuring flexible options for applicants.
Success of Phase I and Continued Momentum
The first phase of the Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana, launched on September 11, 2025, offered 1,167 EWS/Janta category flats. The scheme witnessed an overwhelming response, with all units booked on the very first day of sale — September 22, 2025.
Phase II builds on this success, extending affordable housing benefits to a larger demographic. Apart from adding the LIG category, all other terms and conditions remain unchanged from the earlier phase.
Towards Inclusive Urban Development
The DDA’s Phase II launch underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive urban development under the vision of ‘Housing for All’, ensuring that every citizen — from economically weaker sections to low-income families — has access to safe, affordable, and quality housing in the capital city.
