Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat and his wife Jyoti Hooda have purchased a luxurious apartment in the upscale locality of Andheri West, Mumbai, for ₹10 crore. The high-value property transaction was officially registered on May 22, 2025, according to data from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) and details reviewed by Square Yards.
The newly acquired residence is located in Poorna Apartments, a prominent residential project in the heart of Andheri West. As per the registration documents, the apartment boasts a carpet area of 1,950 sq ft and a built-up area of 2,341 sq ft. The transaction also includes four exclusive car parking spaces, indicating the property’s premium status.
For this high-end deal, the couple paid a stamp duty of ₹60 lakh along with registration charges of ₹30,000. This aligns with the rising trend of celebrities investing in large, well-connected, and luxurious residential properties across Mumbai’s western suburbs.
Andheri West, where the apartment is located, continues to witness strong demand from both end-users and investors due to its strategic location. The area is well-connected to key business hubs like BKC and Andheri East, while also being home to major film and television studios, multiplexes, fine dining options, and high-end residential projects. Over the years, it has transformed into a desirable neighbourhood for celebrities, professionals, and entrepreneurs alike.
Jaideep Ahlawat, known for his powerful performances in critically acclaimed films like Raees (2017) and Raazi (2018), has recently been seen in the Netflix film Jewel Thief (2025) opposite Saif Ali Khan. The actor, who has consistently won praise for his versatile roles, continues to make his mark in Bollywood and the OTT space.
Although the actor did not comment on the property purchase, the deal reinforces the continued interest of film industry personalities in acquiring prime real estate in Mumbai.
